  1. The Lincoln was my favorite to see at night. I felt empowered and happy. The Lincoln was gigantic and every detail from his coat draped over his chair to the way his hands were placed made him life like. I felt so small starring at him. How big his statue is shows how great of a man he was. The reflecting pool made for great pictures with the Washington Monument in perfect view.

    1. Lincoln at night was amazing! It kind of caught me off guard how huge the memorial really was and how small it made you feel! Love the picture of us 4 looking at the Washington Monument with the reflecting pool!

    2. The Lincoln Memorial was inspirational and it made you feel like you were truly in the presence of a great man. I did not expect it to be that big, I guess I had never thought about the dude of it. This one, the Jefferson, and Dr. King were my favorite.

  2. I loved seeing all the monuments at night! I think my favorite was Jefferson and Lincoln. Also, I really liked the FDR monument, I think I'll have to do a little research to figure out what all the many components mean for that one!

  3. Lincoln was pretty awesome to see at night (besides the many children there) especially to see where Martin Luther King gave his "I Have A Dream" speech and were he stood. It was pretty intimidating to think of giving a speech in front of so many people when I can barely give a presentation in front of 7 other students without shaking. I didn't realize that the reflecting pool and the monument in general would be so massive either.
