I can say this was an experience in itself since public transportation was not something I was a custom to. It was interesting to see the different types of people who rode the train day in and out. There was some people who even slept on the train at times. I think I mastered it the first day by myself when I made it back to the hotel by myself. -- Tameria
I agree with you Tameria that was an experience in itself! I have never been in a train expect airports. You are right in the train we just variety of people, high class, middle class, and low class people. The only thing I disagree with in is that I haven't mastered it yet; I am glad that you guys were with otherwise I would be lost lol.
I have to admit, riding the subway was scary for me. Eventually I got the hang of it. I was even able to figure out what color train and direction I needed to get to where I needed to be. It was a growing experience for me. I learned that I am not a city girl, but trying it out was a fun time with all my classmates! Celia
When we first got to DC, I was definitely the most intimidated by the Metro.. I absolutely do no like being crowded in such a small space, but it's something that I got used to fairly quick. After a few rides I think I got the hang of it! Journaling on the Metro was a nice break- it made the ride go by faster!
